Performance Testing for Ajax-based Applications
INTRODUCTION
AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is an approach to programming, which enjoy great popularity, it has since been used by Google for many of its applications, especially Google Suggest and Google Maps web. It has a lot of discussion on a range of issues related to AJAX including:
been />
* Tools and techniques for implementing AJAX (eg Ruby on Rai ls, DWR, Prototype, Sajax,
* Ajax. net) [1,3]
* Business case for using AJAX [2]
* Usability of web applications with AJAX-cations [5]
* Optimization of network bandwidth uti lisierung using AJAX for the development of applications [6]
Given that one of the most important driving forces for the rapid adoption of AJAX has its promises outstanding performance, it is surprising that there is not much discussion on AJAX-specific performance tests. When we studied this in some detai l, we found that AJAX applications in fact present some unique issues and challenges that we discuss in this paper.
Ajax application VS NORMAL WEB APPLICATION
* A typical Web application works as follows:
* User input provides browser (eg, types in a URL, clicks on a link that makes one form)
* Browser sends a request for the URL to the server
* Web server responds wi th a page
* Browser sends more requests for embedded objects (eg images)
* Browser renders the page (including embedded objects)
* Browser next waiting user input and then goes back to the first step.
The main points to note here:
* The browser issues requests for all pages and the entire page gets refreshed as the result of this action
* These questions come as a direct result of user actions.
In contrast to this, Ajax applications to make a number of asynchronous web requests for parts of the current web page. These requests are executed by a piece of client-side code in the browser context is issued. This client-side code is usually implemented in JavaScript and AJAX as the engine.

Does Photoshop Seriously Damage Your Photography
Are you
correct a so-called Photoshop specialist photographer, a picture, which was for the “trash” and creates an image that can be shared and sold determined by microstock do? Strong> p> Do you have to justify your Photoshop know-how with the statement that the landscape shot was ruined because of an overflowing waste bin in the foreground? Or are you telling the portrait photographer me how you saved your embarrassment had a reshoot because they had cloned in a corner section where the background was missing? P> It is absolutely fantastic that we can all use Photoshop to correct our mistakes. But my question is – we should make the mistake in the first place? I come from the days of film and one of the first things you were inspired to do was let your eyes wander around the viewfinder. Then, if you were satisfied with what you saw, you have the picture. Notice I have used the term we. I admit, on a bad day, I’m as guilty as anyone else. P> What we need is more attention to shoot at the shooting of the picture, and less to pay to the post correction techniques. In other words stick the camera on a tripod if possible and let your eyes wander around the viewfinder to find something you can see, that should not be. It is so easy, easy to shoot, what do you think you only to the object in the image that has crept clearly visible to see on the monitor. How did I miss when I have the picture? I wonder. That’s when I also think, thank God for Photoshop. P> A very experienced photographer once told me that when he went “digital”, he got lazy, if under the shots. He had before heard digital Photoshop solved all your problems recordings. Like many photographers, he began to rely on the qualities of such an outstanding software. He ended up spending more time you work on the images in Photoshop than actually having the shots. He had simply taken for granted that simple errors could be corrected easily. But he also realized that every minute the picture at the time of filming saved him ten minutes’ work spent in Photoshop. He began to wish that he stayed put with the movie and thought about his return to old habits. P> But according to an analysis of his situation and assessment of his photos, he realized it was not the digital image that the problem was. It was his technique, he had assumed that they, like your digital photography was approached. So, now he’s back to his old style of recording, by providing more care in the recording back. Not only is his image as improved, but he has a lot more leisure time. P> Suppose you had decided to set up a still life shoot with a bottle of wine, a glass of wine and some grapes. They spent the time the composition of the search getting to the right place and began to shoot himself, a new way and move in closer. You need at least ten salable images. To transfer the files to a folder on your computer and open any file. P> But your excitement turns to horror as the first image is a dirty big thumb print on the glass slap bang in the middle of the picture. How to decide to correct the error in Photoshop. It takes only ten minutes or so. It is ten minutes per image, of course, ten. So in fact it takes you to the best part of two hours, something that should correct discovered during the shooting stage. By the way, if I do not shiny objects, I always make the objects white cotton gloves to shoot. P> What you should do is simply fine-tuning of the image. Maybe give a slight increase in contrast or burning in, very light, the label on the bottle. Just the odd corrections that make a good picture has become excellent. Remember that you’re not a silk purse from a pig’s ear. The same goes for Photoshop p> How can you possibly save by adjusting the unique image in Photoshop, sometimes mistakes can not be helped. can think of the potential market for a portrait photographer, make the model look thinner and younger. Photoshop has set the industry standard and is an excellent tool in the arsenal Provided Photographers – that the photographer’s knowledge to use it and realize there are limits. If you really want to become an expert in Post Image Manipulation “or just correct your images in Photoshop a look at my website www. gbphotostock. com a> and you go to the Photoshop page. P>
. But it is my first passion, photography! I gained my Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society way back in 1988 – a passion that has grown over the years was a Obsession.Es inevitable that at some point my two main interests would be one of my love of buildings, furniture and geworden.Wegen architecture and drawing on my experience gained in the construction industry feel that I am able to take pictures, which fully justifies the subject and show a knowledge and commitment of creative photography to take. However, I do shoot other topics for my personal Gebrauch.Ich now a newsletter to the microstock photographers who want to sell their photos online, is directed.
